Who We Are
NTI specializes in data mining, database processing, geospatial analysis, software engineering, and network design and planning for telecommunication networks worldwide.
Network Technologies International, Inc. (NTI) was incorporated in 1985 and formed by a group of telecommunication network engineers experienced and specializing in the design of foreign public switched telephone networks (PSTN).
Throughout the 1990s, NTI used network management principles to produce comprehensive telecommunication study reports including topics of network planning and development, equipment provisioning, asset management, and maintenance and restoration services. The reports included subsets of data and were based on industry standard network design practices and procedures in compliance with applicable International Telecommunication Union (ITU) recommendations.
In the early 2000s, NTI shifted into a different paradigm. Instead of producing time-bound reports and static data tables, NTI began building platforms centered around data management services and designing their own software solutions. The philosophy of continuously gathering, normalizing, and inserting data into databases coupled with NTI web applications retrieving data elements allowed NTI to expand into new market areas and customize solutions for more customers.
Today, NTI has three core capabilities: data models, software applications, and telecommunication network knowledge. Our vision is to be the primary provider and integrator of telephony reference data about global telecommunication networks and systems for our customers through advanced expertise in data management and software solutions.
Our continuing goal is to be an industry leader in providing quality data and software to our end customers efficiently for fast and reliable delivery.
Quality Management System
In 2002, Network Technologies International applied for and was granted an ISO 9001 certification for the development and implementation of their Quality Management System (QMS). In adherence to this quality standard, NTI documents the company’s processes and procedures, satisfies the requirements and expectations of its customers, consistently provides quality products and services, and improves the overall management of the company.
The Quality Management System of NTI meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015. This system addresses the design, development, production, delivery, and servicing of the company’s products. We have maintained our certification through annual surveillance and recertification audits that confirm our implementation and management of our quality system.
Past Achievements
NetCalc - A traffic flow modeling tool designed to dimension logical link capacities between switching elements within or between networks. Models traffic flow on legacy TDM/PCM circuit-switched links, CCS7 signaling links, and NGN packet-switched links using H.248/SIGTRAN, H.323, and SIP protocols.
NetSim - A global common channel signaling simulation tool. Provides for multiple Primary Rate Interface (PRI) ports. Interfaces to Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) 23B+D or 30B+D ports, using ITU-T Rec. Q.931 signaling message format. Simulates signaling node queuing delays and transmission link delays between near-end and far-end for all dialable PSTN global destinations.
NetView - A geospatial analysis tool designed to view all switching and transmission Network Elements (NE), including those operational, planned, or retired. Attributes include (but not limited to) location, supplier, model, technology, software version, function, etc. Allows the user to view the connectivity either logical or physical between elements, called network topology. Topology attributes may include link protocols, channel assignments, circuit capacities, etc. Graphics (rack layouts, floor plans, etc.) and/or engineering and installation notes can be tagged to each NE.
